How We Met

Cody and I met December 11, 2004 at Chilis restaurant in American Fork. My step-sister, Bridget, my dear friend Anna, and some of our girlfriends and I were all supposed to go out dancing for the night. At last minute I called Anna and told her I wasn't really interested in going dancing, but I had promised Bridget that I would come and see her(she was currently a hostess at Chilis). Anna and I drove to Chilis and sat down to eat. It was weird and still hard to explain, but it was almost as if someone whispered in my ear and told me to look over my shoulder. Then I saw him; Cody. He was sitting by himself and then as if someone started doing all of the talking for me, I asked the waitress to have him sit with us if he was by himself and didn't have his date in the bathroom. The waitress walked over and without saying a word, picked up his plate and placed in on our table. The moment I looked into his eyes I knew he was going to be my hubby. I know, CRAZY! But it's true. Plus he was so cute as he was feeding little baby Kayva his mashed potatoes off of his plate. We have been inseperable since that night.
